About 1890 Days Jamboree

The first 1890 Days Jamboree began in 1975. It was originated by two women from Ringgold, Georgia: Betty Land, a dress shop owner, and Juanita Caldwell, a newspaperwoman. Inspired by Gold Rush Days Festival in Dahlonega, Georgia, they sought to establish a similar event in the Ringgold community. They set the event apart and added flat to the event by having participants dress in 1890s era attire. The Jamboree has been a mainstay in Ringgold ever since!

The event features food, arts and crafts vendors, live music on multiple stages, a parade, car cruise-in, and a fireworks display Saturday night. Admission is FREE and all events are family friendly.
